The
family and heirs of Barron Gift Collier, the county's founding father
and namesake, have created this low density, upscale community centrally
located in the heart of Naples. Members of Grey Oaks eventually
will enjoy 54 holes of championship golf. The first two of three planned
courses were designed by Lloyd Clifton and have been completed.
Each course is distinctive and provides several sets of tees to accommodate
players of all skill levels. The Pine Course features rolling berms, pine
hammocks and dramatic elevation changes. The Palm Course features a tiered
rock waterfall, island greens, meandering lagoons, and white sand beaches.
The golf initiation fee is currently $100,000 and is 90% equity. (Equity
refers to the portion of the initiation fee returned to you should you
terminate your membership.) Social memberships also are available and
include use of all tennis, swim, fitness, clubhouse facilities and golf
privileges from May through October. Residents may own their own golf
cart.
