Mediterra
is The Bonita Bay Group's first master-planned community with a Naples
address. Located in the fast growing North Naples-South Bonita Springs
area, this 1,647-acre community straddles the Collier-Lee County line. The
property is approved for less than 950 units, providing very low density.
The
master plan for Mediterra includes two 18-hole championship golf courses
designed by Tom Fazio. Each course is limited to 275 members. The golf
initiation fee is currently $150,000 and is 100% equity. (Equity refers to
the portion of the initiation fee returned to you should you terminate
your membership.) The Village, an amenity location within Mediterra,
includes a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, swim and tennis fitness center
and an enrichment center. The master plan also includes 986 acres of open
space and miles of bike and hiking paths. The Mediterra Beach Club,
located on the Gulf of Mexico, is scheduled to open in 2002.
Nine
single-family homebuilders are approved for the custom Manor Home
neighborhoods within Mediterra, as well as three multi-family builders for
two villa communities and one coach home neighborhood. A strong
architectural theme from Europe's Mediterranean regions will be adapted
for all residences and structures within Mediterra.
