Tiburon
is located in North Naples and was named for Greg Norman, the designer
of this 36-hole championship golf course (Tiburon is Spanish for "shark").
This is Norman's 29th course worldwide, his 7th in the U.S. and his only
course in Southwest Florida and it has no roughs!
Tiburon
will have up to 600 private residences. The first homes at Tiburon will
be a luxury villa enclave called Norman Estates. This private, gated neighborhood
will consist of 27 spacious villas offering superb views and exclusive
privileges. Prices begin at over $1 million.
The
newest neighborhood is Castillo. Each building in Castillo will have three
private residences with floor plans ranging from 2,200 square feet under
air. Prices for these beautifully appointed residences with two-car garages
range from the low $500's to the high $600's.
The approximately 700-acre community will offer 36 holes of championship
golf including golf club, golf academy and Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Tiburon
membership is limited to 350 members. The Club will alternately designate one 18-hole golf course
as the Club course and the other as the Resort course. Members will be
given priority on the Club course and hotel guests will be given priority
on the Resort course. The course designations will be rotated periodically.
The first 27 holes of the course are ready for play. The golf initiation
fee is currently $125,000 and is 80% equity. (Equity refers to the
portion of the initiation fee returned to you should you terminate your
membership.) In addition to the golf course, there will be a golf academy
under the direction of Rick Smith, a nationally renowned professional.
The magnificent Clubhouse has approximately 30,000-square-feet under
air and a total of 51,000-square-feet. The two-story building will house
a pro shop and grille room and separate locker rooms for hotel guests
and members.
